Amalie Terrace is the latest collaboration between Reliance Housing Foundation, Steven E. Hutchins Architects and GEC.  The development consists of 48 apartments in six buildings built on a very challenging site in Hospital Ground, Charlotte Amalie.  This site is very tightly surrounded by neighboring residences with adjacent functioning streets, and the terrain is drastically sloped.

As a result the Scope of Work included the build out of sizable poured in place concrete retaining structures,  parking lots, and buildings.  Also significant was the photovoltaic array installation on the roofs of the residential buildings made extremely difficult by not only the size of the site but the irregular shape and configuration as well.
